Build Blog 4 – Week 44

Build Blog 4 - Week 44

Build Blog 4 – Introduction

It’s been two weeks since the last blog; time for build blog 4!

Various projects are going on at the moment that I will discuss in this blog, as well as new products that have been added to the website recently.

T-Maxx Spool

In the previous blog, I gave a little teaser about this. By popular request, the aluminum T-Maxx Spool is now available in our webstore. The spool is suitable for the TRX5379X bevel gear set that belongs to the T-Maxx 3.3. The older T-Maxx 2.5 gears with countersunk holes will not fit this spool.

T-Maxx Axle

Aside from the T-Maxx spool, we often got asked if we also offer a complete T-Maxx axle for RC Pulling.
Well, now we do! This T-Maxx axle includes the spool you just saw above. It’s modified with high-end bearings and grease for best performance and holds a 6mm D-shaft with a total length of 180mm.

Twin-Turbo V8

Two weeks ago, in the previous blog, I posted a teaser image of the twin-turbo V8 scale engine I was building. Today I’m sharing the final result, and I love the color combination on this one. It has already arrived at its new owner, and I’m looking forward to seeing it on one of his builds!

Budget 3D Body

I’m currently also 3D printing a budget 3D tractor body. It will be a Massey-Ferguson 1150. Thankfully the print issues I mentioned in the last build blog are resolved! Expect to see the finished result in the next build blog…

EZ-Pull chassis polishing

We’ve had several requests to deliver an EZ-Pull chassis with a polished aluminum chassis. From now on, it’s a standard option for the EZ-Pull Ultimate. If you don’t want a painted chassis, you can choose a polished one instead. As you can see in the photo, we’re preparing one for an upcoming build.

Build Blog 4 – Summary

That’s it again for Build Blog 4! I hope it was a nice variety of content in this blog, we’ve talked about ne products, showcased the V8 scale engine, previewed a 3D body in progress and announced a new option for the EZ-Pull Ultimate!

I’ll try to write another one in two weeks again. In meantime, make sure to check our Facebook or Instagram to stay in the loop! 🙂
